Remarks on the Xiaozhushan Ⅲ Culture and the Shuangtuozi ⅠCulture—View on the Pottery

Abstract:Different views had been existed about the problems that if the Xiaozhushan Ⅲ Culture and the ShuangtuoziⅠCulture are the same culture,and if the ShuangtuoziⅠCulture had entered the Bronze Age.Based on the new archaeological materials,we think that the two cultures should be of the same culture in different stages,and enter the Chalcolithic Age.There is no evidence to prove that the shuangtuozi ⅠCulture had
entered the Bronze Age.The two cultures mentioned above should be of the southern Liaoning local culture influenced by the Shandong Longshan Culture,and they should not be of the Shandong Longshan culture．

Abstract:We may know something about the ancient settling village,the plant growing in the ancient time,the method the ancient people used them,and the kind of their business economy mode,through analyzing the charcoal,the carbonized seed,the fruit relic found in the village.Around the village,there had been a deciduous broad-leaved forest,mainly consisted of the Genus quercus,and the Betula,the Poplar,the Ulmus,the Pu Shu etc.Perhaps the kind of the forest growing in that time was connected with the warm and moist climate at the beginning of the Recent Epoch.People living in the village used the woods to build their houses and got firewood from the forest.They should make a living mainly by collecting according to the fact that the Prunus Armeniaca,Manchurian Walnut,Filbert genus and the relics of the Grass Family and the Pulse Family were found here,and there is no evidence to prove they had planted．
