A Preliminary Study on the Xiaohexi Site in Aohan Banner, Inner Mongolia   (3)
       In 1987, excavation was done in Xiaohexi site (87MAH) by the Inner Mongolia Branch of the institute of Archaeology, CASS, Beijing. 3 house foundations were found here, few potteries, stones and bones were unearthed from them. The site should be of the Xinglongwa I Culture dated to 8200 years ago.

A Summary of the house Foundations in Yushushan and Xiliang sites, Aohan Banner, Inner Mongolia    (7)
       Two sites Yushushan and Xiliang were excavated by the Inner Mongolia Branch of the institute of Archaeology, CASS, Beijing in 1988. Comparing with the Xiaohexi site, there are some similar features between them: the house foundations were half underground with square, rectangle, ladder – shaped and irregular shape, and there is no door but with a basement adding to some houses. Few burials were found in the house foundation. The dates of the two sites mentioned above are later than the Xinglongwa I Culutre.

A Summary of the Unearthed Wares in Yushushan and Xiliang sites, Aohan Banner, Inner Mongolia   (13)
       Two sites Yushushan and Xiliang were excavated by the Inner Mongolia Branch of the institute of Archaeology, CASS, Beijing in 1988. Comparing with the Xinglongwa culture: the tube – shaped pots are very different, there are many common stones and bones, such as stone hoe and blade, bone dark – like  weapon, the stones with drilling hole unearthed from Xiliang site and the pottery statues are very remarkable. The dates of the two sites mentioned above were 5000 years ago according to the C14 data analysis.
